FROG WALK
Experience the night sounds of frogs and other wetland noise-makers of early spring. Join us for this hike led by local naturalist Kate Redmond. Bring a flashlight and your sense of adventure.

Get down and dirty with these hands-on nature-based camps. We will explore animals, habitats, and much more. Topics change annually for returning Junior Naturalists. Campers should bring a bag lunch every day.

ADVENTURE CAMP
Geared toward the active adventurer in your house, we will be biking between different city parks doing a wide range of activities from archery to swimming. Campers need to supply their own bike (in working order), helmet, lunch and snacks. A camp T-shirt will be provided (sponsored in-part by Mountain Outfitters). 

Bring your bike and helmet for this adventure camp. We will be meeting daily at the Conservancy and traveling to other city parks such as Regner, Riverside, and Quaas Creek. The last day will be at the Conservancy. At this camp, we will be doing a variety of nature based activities, such as pond scooping and creeking, as well as adventure activities such as archery and swimming.

Come on down to the campfire ring at Lac Lawrann Conservancy and cook up some tasty campfire treats. No need to bring anything but your appetite and a willingness to try something new.

GLACIAL GEOLOGY
The glaciers have been gone for a very long time. We can still see remnants of their passage through our area. We will take a hike through the park and talk about glacial geology and examine the clues that lie under our feet. All ages welcome.

LITTLE HIKERS STORYTIME
Does your preschooler love to hike and read stories? Join us for a story and hands-on hike where we use our senses to discover nature first-hand. It will be a stop and go hike, making it easy for any little one to keep up. We will visit a different part of the conservancy with each visit. Children should be accompanied by their parent or caregiver.
