The Friends of Lac Lawrann board voted unanimously to name the connector from the Railroad Spur trail to the Pine Plantation “Broman Trail.” Longtime LLC volunteer Bob Broman designed the trail, one of the countless projects Bob influenced at the conservancy. Friends president Paul De Chant said of the naming, “Now everyone who visits our trails will be able to understand and acknowledge the passion Bob has for Lac Lawrann.”
The signs were created and installed by West Bend PRF staff.
Your naming a trail for Bob is so thoughtful. He truly was devoted to your organization and its mission.
I saw the sign while cross country skiing and was delighted to see acknowledgement for Bob’s long time dedication to Lac Lawrann. He was also a tireless worker on the Ice Age Trail. Hope he gets out and about once in a while.
It is great to see a trail named for Bob Broman. Bob has volunteered at Lac Lawrann in almost every capacity from eradicating buckthorn, prairie restoration,
helping with plant sale or anyother job that needed to be done. What a dedicated volunteer !
