Lac Lawrann Maurin Center
Our 2022 Wildflower and Perennial Sale begins with a gathering at the Maurin Center. The Plant Sale Committee looks forward to seeing workers from past seasons and welcome new volunteers. Preparation for the plant sale requires many volunteers to get thousands of plants ready to sell. Tasks include mixing soil, potting up small plants, labeling, inventorying, and watering. The prep work is done every Tuesday and Thursday during the month of April to be ready for the plant sale on May 7. Our speaker will be Lisa Oddis, chapter president of Wild Ones. Her topic will be: “Plant Native Plants!”
The group will be treated to an exciting preview of the many plants we are featuring this year! We will have beverages and pastries. Door prizes!
