A sad note to all of our members and volunteers. The founder and first president of the Friends of Lac Lawrann Conservancy, Dan Kline, has passed away. Dan worked to get the organization incorporated in the spring of 1994 and was tireless in his efforts to run and guide it through those first tenuous years. These 25 years later we owe a good bit of our legacy to Dan for his hand in guiding the Friends. You can read more about his legacy at the link below. Dan will be missed by many. Joanne Kline has also been instrumental in the work of the Conservancy. From plant and habitat identification, to our master plan Joanne, has been a force in the Friends as well. Please keep Joanne and their children in your thoughts and prayers.
