Greetings,
What a fine night we had for our Fall Luminary Walk. The weather was perfect for a Fall night’s walk in the woods and on the trails. The crowds far exceeded last year’s, based on vehicles parked and food and beverage sales. With over 700 in attendance last year, we may have pushed that number towards 1000 this year! Many on the walk were first timers to the Conservancy and I personally talked to several from out of the city and the state, who heard about it and decided to check us out. So a big thank you to all our new visitors and an invitation to come back and walk the trails again.
Music was provided all night by Ken Wheaton again and all in the Maurin Center enjoyed it while sipping hot chocolate and cider and of course the popcorn. So thanks again for a great evening and watch our newsletter, Facebook and emails for the date of our Winter Luminary.
