Greetings,
Multi-colored leaves fall on the railroad spur trail and crunch under foot. Yet the weather is warm and dry. Not a typical string of days for fall at Lac Lawrann. But the weather has been a friend to the contractors working on our new Nature Playground. A lot of dirt has been moved, concrete poured for the Sensory Garden and construction is just about completed on the deck. The generosity of many organizations, individuals, foundations and the dedicated planning by Courtney, our naturalist, and Rick, the city project coordinator, have all helped bring the pieces together for this great addition to the conservancy.
In addition, our fall Luminary Walk is coming up this Saturday, October 19 from 6-9 pm. Bring a friend and enjoy a walk on the trail lit by candle luminaries, then stop in at the barn for some music and purchase some treats.
See you on the trails.
